The IASlab is an immersive space in digital technologies that will study the growth of media content, art, and digital entertainment, and will also be a lever for the evolution of other sectors through their experiences. The new digital arts, science, and entertainment laboratory have been designed as a sustainable and energy-efficient building, making the most of natural resources, reducing consumption, and optimizing and reusing all energy.

The IASlab project is co-funded by the Department of Research and Universities of the Generalitat de Catalunya, within the framework of the Call EMC/954/2019, of April 9, for the realization of unique institutional projects that enable the generation of research excellence, the attraction of talent and the development of knowledge transfer and valorization activities, through the construction, acquisition, habilitation or substantial expansion of buildings for R&D infrastructures.
