Admission process

Sign up on our online platform admissions.salleurl.edu and fill the required details.

• ID or passport and photo.
• Motivation letter.
• English Certificate: TOEFL with a mark of (IBT) 90-110, B2 certificate (optional), Cambridge Advanced English or IELTS with a mark of 6-7, Cambridge English or IELTS certificates: if you do not provide them, you will be required to carry out an interview in English (Only for students that want to study the degree in English)
• Academic transcripts
  • ​If you are studying in the Spanish education system:
    • Grades from 1st and 2nd year of Spanish Baccalaureate or Advanced Vocational Training Diploma.
  • If you are studying in another country, outside of the Spanish education system:
    • Grades from the final two years of study.
    • European Baccalaureate Diploma or International Baccalaureate Diploma, if already successfully completed: final 2 years.
    • Recommendation letter if you are an international student.
  • If you are an Undergraduate student:
    • Academic transcripts and Academic Programme from your university.

• Animation & VFX: a story board of 8 vignettes describing a story and the design of an original character and a cineforum with the director of the Degree.

• Architecture: A portfolio that unifies at least 5 graphic or visual works, such as drawings (artistic and/or technical), designs or other related creations.

• Business and Management: survey with questions about Business and Management to assess your knowledge in this area.

• Digital Arts: character and landscape design. Option to add art portfolio.

• Engineering / Artificial Intelligence and Data Science / Design and Creation of Interactive Products: a research essay or a 2-page essay in which you describe a technological idea.

• Health Engineering: a research work related to the health field or a 2-page essay where you develop a technological idea applied to the health field that you would like to be able to implement.

• Philosophy and Humanities: a text commentary in which your reflective capacity will be assessed.

Personal or online interview with the degree coordinator, if necessary.

*All international students will take the personal interview, either onsite or online.

The Admissions Committee will evaluate your application and notify their decision within a maximum of 15 days.

To formalize the place reservation, you must pay €1,500, which will not be refunded after the withdrawal period, unless you do not obtain access to the university. 

• 100€ covers the admission fee for opening your academic record.
• 1,400€ goes towards payment of your tuition fees.

Right of withdrawal 

The contract for the provision of training services regulated in these General Conditions shall be deemed to have been concluded on the date on which the reservation of the place is formalized or, if no such reservation is made, on the date on which the enrolment is formalized. 

The candidate will have a period of fourteen (14) calendar days from the conclusion of the service provision contract to withdraw from it without penalty, provided that the academic program in which he/she has enrolled has not begun, in which case the amount to be reimbursed will be discounted from the amount corresponding to the days that the program has been taught. 

Candidates who wish to communicate their withdrawal must do so in writing, within the aforementioned period, unequivocally stating their wish to withdraw by sending the withdrawal form, addressed to the attention of FUNDACIÓ PRIVADA UNIVERSITAT I TECNOLOGIA (FUNITEC), C/ Sant Joan de La Salle, nº 42, 08022 Barcelona, or by email to admin_postgraduate@salle.url.edu. 

Once the right of withdrawal has been exercised correctly by the candidate, the amounts paid will be reimbursed with the right to a refund by bank transfer, within a maximum period of thirty (30) calendar days from receipt of the withdrawal form.

• IB students + EU education systems: UNED Credential (done by UNEDasiss)
• Non EU education systems: certificate accrediting studies [homologación in Spanish] from the Spanish Ministry of Education or the Catalan Government (Education Department).
