Sònia Luengo Alvarez

Sonia Luengo is the current Head of the PMO of La Salle Campus Barcelona.
She was the Director of La Salle R&D, a Business Unit involving Research and Technology Transfer projects of Engineering field since July 2011 right now. Controller and Team Manager of Engineering Department for 21 months since January 2013. A year experience as a Director of Projects Area in 2010 as well as 2 year experience related to P&L of a Department since 2009. More than 10 years of professional experience in managing research projects related to the field of electronics and communications at national and international levels. More than 7 years managing projects of Technology Transfer related to Business World. Collaboration with CERN for more than 8 years, carrying out the design and supervision of one of the sub-detectors of the LHCb detector (one of the four existing at the CERN particle accelerator).
She is a Full Professor with more than 15 years of teaching experience in topics related to Electronics, Communications and Management. She received her MSc degree in Electronics Engineering from Universitat Ramon Llull (URL), Spain, in 2000. She also received her PhD, her M.S. degree in Project Management and her MBA from the same university in 2008, 2002 and 2011 respectively.
