Miquel Ribó Pal

Miquel Ribó received the Telecommunication Engineering degree from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia, Barcelona, in 1994 and the Ph.D. degree in Electronics from La Salle (Ramon Llull University), Barcelona, in 2001.
Since 1997, he has been with the Communications and Electromagnetics Research Group at La Salle (Ramon Llull University) where he currently teaches Microwave theory and Electromagnetic theory.
He has led and participated in a number of research projects in the microwave and electromagnetic compatibility areas.
His research interests include the multimodal analysis of coplanar and microstrip transitions, and of electromagnetic compatibility problems such as interference generation, propagation and mitigation.
He is currently the Vice-chairman of the Spanish EMC IEEE Society Chapter, and was the Vice-chairman of the EMC Europe 2006 International Symposium on Electromagnetic Compatibility, held in Barcelona in September 2006.
